Why Isn't This In North American News?

It doesn't surprise me that this issue isn't really being covered in North American media. After all, the less we know, the better off we are, right?

UN atomic agency to issue report on Iran

IAEA set to release most detailed intelligence yet as Israeli leader says an attack on the Islamic Republic is closer.

The UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency, is expected to issue its most detailed report yet on research in Iran seen as geared to developing atomic bombs.

Iranian officials have already seen the Vienna-based IAEA's intelligence to be released to the UN this week, diplomats told the AFP news agency.

In a report on its website, the  Washington Post newspaper quoted Western officials as saying that the new information reinforced concerns that Iran continued to conduct weapons-related research after 2003 when, according to US intelligence agencies, Iranian leaders halted such experiments in response to international and domestic pressures.

In the run-up to the report's release, Shimon Peres, the Israeli president, said the military option to stop the Islamic republic from obtaining nuclear weapons was nearer.

Some experts say Israel will launch a strike if it is convinced that the West is not going to take stronger steps against nuclear Iran.

Iran insists its nuclear programme is only for peaceful purposes. Ali Akbar Salehi, the Iranian foreign minister, said in comments published in Iran on Sunday that it was based on "counterfeit" claims.

And in comments carried by the Egyptian newspaper A l-Akhbar  on Monday, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president, has said the US fears of Iran's growing military power because it is now able to compete with Israel and the West.

"Yes, we have military capabilities that are different from any other country in the region," Ahmadinejad is quoted as saying.

"Iran is increasing in capability and advancement and therefore we are able to compete with Israel and the West and especially the United States.

"The US fears Iran's capability. Iran will not permit [anyone from making] a move against it."

Russian warning

For its part, Russia has said that a possible military strike against Iran would be a "very serious mistake" that would only lead to further conflict and civilian casualties.

"It would be a very serious mistake fraught with unpredictable consequences," Sergei Lavrov, Russia's foreign minister, said on Monday.

Iran's rulers deny accusations that they are seeking nuclear weapons and say they will respond to any attacks by striking at Israel and US interests in the Arabian Gulf.

A senior US military official said on Friday Iran had become the biggest threat to the US.

In the newspaper interview, Ahmadinejad repeated that Iran does not own a nuclear bomb, but said Israel's end was inevitable.

"It is Israel that has about 300 nuclear warheads. Iran is only keen to have nuclear capability for peaceful means," he said, accusing the US of lumping Iran with Syria, Hamas [which rules the Gaza Strip] and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The US portrays those four as "the Axis of Evil to save the Zionist entity [Israel]. But the Zionists are bound to go out of existence", Ahmadinejad said.

It seems almost 'deliberate' that the only things we see on TV, and hear about on the radio, and read in our newspapers is covering the OWS movement, and the financial crisis in Europe. I believe this is referred to as: 'slight of hand'.

Even those who are well off know that they are not spared from the wrath of the 1% and the grip they have on everything. For many of them, it's not a matter of IF but WHEN they become just like their neighbours, struggling to eek out an existence.

Can anyone yet tell me what they are protesting against? Who their leader is? What they hope to accomplish?

Check out these pics I've 'received'. The only common factor seems to be a bunch of people standing outside….

 

Manipulating The News…?

    It appears to me (and most other blog readers), that the Illuminati Controlled Media is 'romanticising' the OWS, (Occupy Wall St.) protests now happening around the globe. I would also go as far as to say that they are even MANIPUTLATING the news. You'll see on the T.V. News, and in the papers that the majority of people who are protesting are nut-jobs with huge signs and placards. Yes, every protest will always have a few 'CRAZIES'. That's inevitable.

I will go as far as to argue the at least a few of these placard carrying Neo-Hippies are plants. They have been placed there by the Powers That Be. They'll remain PEACEFUL until they receive word to cause problems. Once these protests become violent in nature, they will lose all credibility to the mass public. That is also the reason why the media appears to ONLY interview the protesters with the signs, or painted faces, or masked faces. They want the misinformed, brainwashed public to believe there is nothing but bad, fear mongering protesters attending these events.

Anyone else notice that?


 

It’s The Thought That Counts…..

    Over the past month or so, I've been writing about  'Occupy Wall St.' I was writing about it long before the mainstream media looked at it. Now the protests have moved north of the border and elsewhere around the world.

As I posted on September 20^th, (nearly a MONTH ago), in NYC Uprising, I said :

"Have you seen any of these stories on TV? No. Why is that? It's not NEARLY as big of a story as Egypt was, or Libya, or Yemen. Just wait. Once it becomes a larger protest, it'll suddenly be on the TV news, as though it happened 'over night'."



Now that people have started protesting in Toronto, I almost feel obligated to call a huge BULL SHIT on this whole 'movement'. The reason I say this is for a number of reasons:

1. This is Canada. We're the most passive people in the world.
   
2. This is Canada, and it's nearly winter. I didn't see many 'protesters' prepared to stay very long, (no winter clothing).
   
3. Remember the G20 riots: Agent Provocateurs? It'll happen again.
   
4. 'Nuff said.
   

As a fellow Canadian, and citizen of the world, I'm VERY embarrassed on behalf of my brothers and sisters. I agree with their principles. I agree that 'We The People' are getting fleeced by The Man. The reason I'm embarrassed is this: NOTHING WILL CHANGE. When all is said and done, the protesters, (who lack a leader right now), will be negotiated into agreeing with the Status Quo.

Ghandi once said: "Be the change you want to see in the world." I don't disagree with that statement. What I do disagree with is these Peaceful Protests by a bunch of Neo-Hippies.

What did Woodstock accomplish? Other than a really awesome video collection… Absolutely nothing. That is the plan for these Neo-Hippies: A peaceful protest. I can understand the idea. Hell, it's even a GOOD IDEA. It'll accomplish nothing. You can mark my words when I say that.





Now, let's look back to when the 'Occupy Wall St.' protest started. Where was the

Mainstream Media? They weren't there. The only way this message got out to the world was because one person was LiveStreaming it from his laptop, so that the world, (primarily plugged-in people, with no job), could watch.

The OWS movement received absolutely NO coverage. Why do you suppose that is? I've explained in previous posts why I believe that is. I could be wrong. I doubt it.
