Dire Straits' song should be censored, council rules
As I said before, and as I'm sure you all know; this song was released 25 years ago, and achieved PLATINUM status TEN times. That's 10,000,000 copies sold. Doesn't sound like too many people were offended.
Now, in Canada, the CBSC has decided that Money for Nothing cannot be played on the radio, or television unless the word 'faggot' is beeped out.
This is how you are being controlled. Slowly, over a long period of time, we will be told what we can, and cannot hear or see. This was started years ago when movies, and television programs started to be censored. Music was next. Curse words, (the 7 words you can't say on TV from George Carlin), are not offensive. Those who find those words offensive lack the intelligence to under stand slang terms.
How many books have been censored because of the odd 'curse word'? recently it was the Mark Twain classic Huckleberry Finn removing the word 'nigger', and being replaces with the much more politically correct word, 'slave'. Give me a BREAK! 'Slave' is less offensive than 'nigger'? They've got many of you donating money to charities that don't exist.
But I digress......
THEY are controlling us left, right, and centre. The worst part is, very few people see this happening. The ones that do are often written off as 'conspiracy nuts', and the like. Won't it be funny, and scary, when the disbelievers realize we've been right all along?
